The longstanding and popular Travel Talks programme takes place on
Friday mornings from mid September to May.
It is open to anyone with an interest the world we live in who wants to learn
more about it by sharing the experiences of another traveller – the speaker.
The talks are relaxed and informal but we aim for a high professional standard.
The Talks are ideal for anyone wishing to continue learning without pressure
of exams or written work; for carers who need a complete break with something
interesting but not too demanding to do; for retired
people who wish to meet new people and share their interest in travel.
The group is supportive and
friendly and everyone is welcome.
By attending the Travel Talks you will experience places
you might not be able to visit for yourself, learn about other peoples’
cultures and ways of life and gain an insight into how people spend their
leisure time and working lives.
Trips out are organised in the
summer term!
Thank you for your
interest! Tricia Lessells organiser
